Extrinsic in nature and can be removes by simple brushing or teeth cleaning.Orange Stains- Rarely seen. Involves both facial and lingual surface of the teeth. Cause is unknown , can effect both males and females. Easily removed in compared with green stains. Produced due to chromogenic bacteria. Associated with poor oral hygiene and removed with the help of brush and abrasives.Treatment of teeth stains- Extrinsic Stains which are only on the surface- Scaling and polishing with prophylaxis paste is sufficient for removal of extrinsic stains ie whihc are present on the surface of the tooth.
